So everyone, after many suggestions that I should do it I am finally going to try this. I'm really not expecting anything much (if at all) but I figured that it definitely won't hurt to at least have it.

Unfortunately I have three obstacles.
First is the fact that I cannot use PayPal. Due to a misunderstanding with a seller on Ebay which led to several disputes, my account was permanently closed. Really stupid. But what's worse is that PayPal really has the Market these days don't they? What are my alternatives? So I used Google Checkout until I can find a better alternative.
Next obstacle is that XDA-Developers.com would not allow the Google Checkout snippet code in the signature or in a post (basically anywhere).
Third is that even if they did, the signature cannot be longer than 1000 characters.

I'm always open to some feedback on XDA, e-mail, here in this blog or wherever to assist in overcoming these obstacles. In the meantime this will just have to do for now.

Thanks for your time and for your consideration.

About me:
So some of you know who I am already. And that's great. But if you found your way here it's likely because of the donation link. So I find it fair to explain why a donation would be so appreciated.

(As of April 15, 2010)
I am 31 years old living in Newark California. Which is less than an hour from San Francisco. I love living here but have no family. I am originally from the Detroit area but became independent at 18 years old when I joined the Army in 1997. I served for three years and one month when I injured my back during a field training exercise. I was pushed out and I've been working to live and living to work ever since. My friends and family have moved on since then so I have no reason to relocate back to Michigan. Which unfortunately means I remain here in California working two jobs. Both security for two different companies. So my schedule is like such:
0000-0700 Work as Lead Officer of Security at a Hotel in the SF Bay area.
0700-1300 I sleep.
1300-1600 I get ready for job 2/free time (usually spent on XDA).
1600-2200 Work at a shopping center as a security officer near Oakland (pretty dangerous)
2200-2300 I get ready for job 1.
2300-0700 Working at hotel (job 1).
Repeat.

I usually have Monday's and Tuesdays off at night so that's when I get most of my contributions done on XDA but I try to spend it with my girlfriend or else she gets upset (gee... can't imagine why).

So I work at least 70 hours a week and I attempt to contribute as often as I can on XDA-Developers. But I'm not going to lie... there are times that I really want to call it quits. When my roommates and girlfriend even ask me why I do it for nothing they look at me like I'm stupid when I tell them because I like to contribute to the community. I can't blame them. Could you?

More about me?
Damn... even with working 70 hours a week I'm only making about 2000 a month after taxes. I don't need to tell you that living in California is not cheap or easy. Especially in the SF Bay area. Even with four roommates and four dogs in a three bedroom house that I found on Craiglist, I still pinch pennies. So yeah... but I'm not asking for sympathy. I'm not even asking for donations. It's simply there for those that feel compelled to do so.

If you have any questions I am very open and I would be happy to answer them (most of them anyway).

Thanks for reading.
